The Town Center's park includes the World Famous Fountain. The Fountain operates on the hour every hour from 9 am to 9 pm. One of the bigger events put on each year is a fireworks show at the Fountain celebrating the Fourth of July, and the community comes together for various other events throughout the year as well such as the Turkey Trot in November. If you love star gazing, you'll love living in Fountain Hills. Fountain Hills is one of only two International Dark Sky Communities located near a large city. The city also has plans for its very own dark sky observatory. You'll find many homeowners with telescopes of their own on their decks and patios for the enjoyment of this wonderful benefit.
